There's something extra magical about bringing a home to life for the holidays—and this mantel was pure joy to style. My client wanted a winter wonderland feel in her living room that didn’t scream “pack me away on December 26th,” and this layered look delivers beauty well into the New Year.
Lush evergreen garlands cascade across the mantel, grounded with rich navy velvet bows for a touch of drama. Sculptural gold trees holding stockings and candleholders add warmth and glow, while icy blue and white ornaments bring in that frosted, snow-kissed feel. The carved wooden deer stands proudly with its woodland charm.
Everything feels cozy, elevated, and intentionally not over-the-top—perfect for sipping hot cocoa in December and enjoying quiet fireside nights in January. Decorating clients’ homes like this is one of my favorite parts of what I do—creating moments that feel special, personal, and beautifully seasonal.
