Collected Comfort Great Room

This family room came together in the best way—full, finished, and ready for living. Working with the client’s existing sectional, area rug, and wall color, I layered in just the right mix of furniture and accessories to make this large space feel warm, balanced, and inviting.

A substantial coffee table, multiple end tables, and a console help anchor the room, while new lighting—hello statement chandelier, wall sconces, table lamps, and floor lamps—adds glow from every angle. Pops of teal in the accessories and custom window treatments play beautifully off the bold hits of red, keeping things lively but still pulled together.

Comfort was a must, so there are plenty of places to put your feet up—whether it’s the custom window seat cushion or the cozy leather ottomans by the fireplace. Speaking of the fireplace, it’s now a true focal point, styled with artwork above the mantel and flanking pieces that give it extra presence. The built-in bookcases got a glow-up too, with grasscloth wallpaper backing that makes the accessories pop.

If this were my home, you’d find me curled up in that fireside seating spot on repeat.
