Church Expansion

Designing this 20,000-square-foot church expansion in Cheshire, CT was truly a labor of love—and a whole lot of thoughtful details. From the soaring worship space to the welcoming entry and lobby, every inch was designed to feel warm, inspiring, and ready to gather. I sourced and proposed all finishes, including architectural details, as well as furnishings and flooring, creating a cohesive flow that supports both quiet reflection and lively connection.

The kitchen is set up for on-site catering needs, and the coffee bar and café areas invite people to linger (and refuel), while flexible indoor and outdoor seating zones make room for conversation before and after services. Offices, conference rooms, bathrooms, and kids’ spaces were all designed with function first—but never at the expense of style. Clean lines, durable materials, thoughtful acoustics, and lots of natural light make this space work hard and feel good doing it.

This project was an absolute honor. I’m incredibly grateful to have collaborated with such wonderful people on a space that’s all about community, connection, and celebration.
